WELCOME!
We are so very excited to be back with all of you! We pray for a year filled with blessings. Welcome to all new families - if you have any questions about anything, please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] STAFF UPDATES We have an amazing staff ready to engage with your children and make this a great year! Here is a little information about all of us: Tammy Breckenfelder - ECP Director - This is my ninth school year at Grace. I have two sons who graduated from Grace and now attend high school. It's my job to make sure everything runs smoothly here at Extended Care, so please reach out with any questions or concers. Kim Stiller - This is Mrs. Stiller's twelfth year here at Grace! You will see her before school and during the lunch hour and early afternoon. Mrs. Stiller is also the aide in 3K. She has three daughters, who all attended Grace, and are now a senior in hs, a freshman in college and one who just graduated from college. Ann Albert - Mrs. Albert will be working during lunch and after school. She has a daughter who is a freshman in high school and a son who is in 5th grade here at Grace. Amy Raymond - Mrs. Raymond will be working during lunch and early afternoons. She has three daughters, one who is a freshman in hs and the other two, attend Grace in 6th and 4th grades. Valerie Eggert - Mrs. Eggert will be working in the mornings. She recently got married and also happens to be the daughter of our maintainence man, Mr. Arndt! His sister, Caliyah is in 8th grade here at Grace. For those of you wondering, Mrs. W and Mrs. Benninghoff both made the tough decision to retire in the wake of COVID. I promised them we would do something to honor them when it was safe to do so, so please stay tuned. SYCAMORE ACCOUNTS All time used will be subtracted from your account on Sycamore. To access this information, click on the "My Accounting" tab on the right side of the home page. Then, click on "childcare" and "account". There you can search by month or year and see all of your deductions and additions. Reminder emails will be sent once your account is under $20. Funds can be added by check or cash (either handed to an Extended Care worker or put in your child's backpack for them to hand to their teacher - if you are going that route, please either send me or the teacher and email so we know to ask for it if needed) or online through Sycamore (see "online payments" in the next column) Please contact me with any questions! SYCAMORE CONTACTS I have streamlined the registration form for Extended Care as I now pull all emergency and pick up contacts from your Sycamore account. PLEASE make sure your contact list is updated on Sycamore. This includes checking the boxes in front of the names that should be contacted in an emergency and those that are authorized to pick up your child from Extended Care. Please contact me with any questions. DONATIONS NEEDED Extended Care is always looking for donations of individually packaged snacks, paper products, craft items, toys, etc. We are especially in need of girl themed toys that are easy to sanitize. If you are able to donate any of the above, please drop off in the school office or down in Extended Care. We appreciate all donations - they are put to great use!! WEATHER CHANGES Please make sure you are sending appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather. This can change daily! SCHEDULE CHANGES While we try to be as flexible as possible, we do ask that you keep us informed regarding schedule changes. We make up our lists each day using the information you provided on your registration form. If something changes, please update us through email or written note. This is especially important for our preschool students, who may be too small to know where to go, and middle school students that will be participating in sports. Thank you in advance to helping to streamline our pickup process! |
3K/4K PARENTS
Drop off care: If your child is not signed up in advance for Extended Care, please call or email ahead to make sure we have room. Most often we will, but sometimes we need to rearrange our staff schedule to accommodate. Thank you! Lunches: If your preschool child needs hot lunch, please make sure you are letting the school office know by 8:00am the day of. If you have signed up your child for hot lunch in advance, but then send cold instead, please let the office know so they can cancel your hot lunch order. It is important we have accurate numbers for the hot lunch company. This also helps our lunch time go more smoothly. Thank you! Please make sure you read through the pre k letter regarding supplies needed at Extended Care. If you did not receive this letter (blue piece of paper) on registration day, you can access it here. ACTIVITY SCHEDULE You can access the 2020-21 days off activity schedule here. This is a list of all the days off of school that Extended Care is open. More information will come out when each day gets closer. SIGN IN/OUT As a reminder of our policies: For drop off: An adult must accompany the child to the door. Please ring the door bell by the gym doors and then walk back to the last set of glass doors where you will be greeted by a staff member. Temperature checks will be given. Staff will sign your child in. For pick up: Please follow the same procedure as above. A staff member will sign your child out and bring them to the last set of glass doors. You may also access it here. PARKING LOT PROCEDURES If you are picking up your child(ren) between the times of 3:30-4:00, there is a great chance that we will be out on the playground. Please make sure you are entering the parking lot off of Hayes, and parking in the lot directly north of the school. It becomes a dangerous situation when cars are coming down the blue line driveway and parking by the doors. The Extended Care office is open Monday through Friday from 8-3.
